stretched my first canvas
so to get some practice in before i do one BIG one, i am stretching 2 smaller sized canvas. then more to come after the big one. its hard work but incredibly fun. found out ill need some knee pads for moving around on the hard concert. folding the corners is the hardest part. look through my paintings and see if you can figure out what got painted on the canvas in the picture below.
TUMBLR SUCCESS
so no one in the world reads this but i am excited to tell my fans that i recently posted a few of my paintings on Tumblr and actually started getting a few "likes" and "reblogs." feels a good knowing some people didn't hate it completely. i have to say that this is where all my focus in life is heading. i love painting and i know im not any kind of close to being a master but i'll still be painting when I turn 70...(i'm 26 currently) and then, maybe then, i'll be a master of my world. some of my work may seem airy and whimsical but i really over analyze and over contemplate each one. it's not easy and doesn't come natural to me but it's what i want.
