(Impression of A Chemist Lifting with Extreme Precaution the Cutical of a Grand Piano)

I bought a membership with my girlfriend/fiance to the Kimbell Art Museum  just to see The Age of Picasso and Matisse exhibit a day early. While there i did a few sketches of some of the more attention grabbing pieces. You can probably guess at this point since i gave you that bit of information that "The Chemist" by Dali was featured and it happen to not only catch my eye ascetically but the name itself was rather intriguing. Needless to say i sketched the master piece! But it was not over from there. Almost instantly after jotting down the visual journalistic entree I was reminded of a dear friend and decided that I would re-create the Dali master piece for their birthday. I immersed myself in Dali and tried to put myself in his mind. Watched a few documentaries and set out on the journey. i found myself feeling as curious as "the chemist," as vulnerable as "the women," and spectating just like "the child." Painting, painted and gifted away! SOLD!
